Life at Bridges
We are proud to have amazing teachers who are passionate about what they do. To these teachers, Bridges is more than a job: It’s a ministry! They teach with excellence, they mentor with wisdom, and they love with big hearts. We are blessed to have such an outstanding group of educators.
We currently have about 100 students attending schools in El Cisne and Aqua Caliente covering grades 7-12. We employ three full-time teachers and five part-time teachers to bring expertise in certain subject matters. Some of the students walk up to one hour each way from other villages to attend the schools. Without your support, none of these kids would be able to continue their education beyond grade 6.
Agua Caliente
This is where our vision started, and this is where it continues to grow! At this campus are grades 7-12. In 2018 we had our first class of graduating seniors, and we have had a class every year since. Without your help, these diplomas would not be possible.
El Cisne
The students attending our campus at El Cisne are between grades 7 and 9. Once completing education at this campus, the students are given the option to enroll at our Agua Caliente campus, where they will be given access to grades 10-12.
Through giving these students basic education, along with classes such as agriculture, art, computer science, and English, we are not only giving them the fundamentals of education, but giving them skills that will benefit them in the years to come.
